At Huadong Taiwan Businessman's School, student learning is at the heart of everything we do. We focus on developing capabilities for lifelong growth and see the world itself as an extended learning environment.
Our goal is to continue building a future-ready K–12 school defined by global perspectives, innovation, and humanistic values.

Across all stages of K–12 education, we help students build strong learning capabilities and develop rich, diverse learning experiences.
By using evidence from student learning and growth, we continuously improve curriculum and teaching so that every student’s progress can be recognized, supported, and celebrated.
02 | Diverse Pathways for the Future
Every student has different strengths, interests, and aspirations.
We provide a broad range of learning opportunities, including diverse academic pathways, language learning, international education, and career exploration.
We believe there is no single path to success. Our role is to help every student discover the direction that best fits their talents, interests, and future goals.
03 | Building Four K–12 Languages for the Future
At Huadong, we develop four essential “languages” that help students understand the world and create the future:
Computational Language
Developing digital literacy, computational thinking, and the capabilities needed for the AI era.
Academic and Research Language
Developing skills in reading, inquiry, research, analysis, and communication.
Language of Cultural Understanding
Building language proficiency, intercultural understanding, and global citizenship.
Language of Design and Innovation
Developing design thinking, creative practice, and problem-solving capabilities.
Together, these four languages provide students with the tools to learn, communicate, innovate, and engage confidently with the world.

We believe the world is our greatest classroom.
Huadong continues to build connections with schools, universities, industries, communities, and international learning networks in Taiwan and around the world.
Through authentic experiences in different cultures, environments, and real-world contexts, students learn beyond the boundaries of the classroom.
We bring students from the campus into the world—and bring the world into our campus.
05 | Growing with Well-Being, Supporting Every Student
Education is not only about academic achievement. It is also about the kind of person each student becomes.
From kindergarten through senior high school, we support students in developing emotional well-being, self-management, collaboration, resilience, career awareness, and self-leadership.
Through a comprehensive student support system, we aim to create an environment where every child feels understood, supported, and confident enough to learn, grow, and thrive.
Professional Teachers, Better Learning
Student growth begins with the continuous professional growth of teachers.
At Huadong, we encourage collaborative planning, professional dialogue, peer observation, reflective practice, and curriculum innovation.
We are building a professional learning community in which teachers are not simply transmitters of knowledge, but also designers of learning, mentors, and guides.
Creating a Campus for Future Learning
The campus itself is an important part of the learning experience.
We continue to enhance the quality, aesthetics, and functionality of our learning spaces, creating environments for reading, research, experimentation, creation, design, discussion, and the sharing of student work.
At Huadong, learning happens not only inside classrooms, but throughout the campus—in every space where curiosity, creativity, and connection can grow.
