Educational Philosophy
Supporting children as they grow with joy, confidence, and independence is one of the greatest rewards of being an educator.
I believe education should nurture children’s intrinsic motivation to learn while helping them develop the independence and practical life skills they need to take care of themselves and engage confidently with the world around them.
At Huadong, I hope not only to be a dedicated educator who carefully nurtures every young learner, but also to extend these educational values across the wider school community—creating an environment where every child is understood, respected, supported, and empowered to grow.
My Approach to Teaching
- Observe, understand, and follow the child.
- Create a rich and thoughtfully prepared learning environment that supports each child’s growth and development.
- Encourage children to discover the true meaning of freedom through positive interaction and meaningful learning experiences.
- Help children understand that freedom develops self-discipline, and self-discipline leads to boundless freedom.
- Enrich language and cultural learning to help children gradually build their understanding of the world.
- Respect and accept every individual with an open and inclusive heart, and live in harmony with others.
- Maintain open and effective communication to overcome difficulties and solve problems together.
- Keep growing personally in order to adapt to an ever-changing society.
